The Faceless Collection

This series, The Faceless Collection, was born out of grief. I lost my little sister suddenly, two years ago. She was 38. With these portraits, they hold loss and love in the same breath, heartache, and what it means to lose someone so deeply.

The faces are absent by intention. It is because this isn’t only my story. These portraits are for every person who has loved and lost and carries that void. The absent features are an offering: bring yourself here, your person, your loss, your love.

This collection is for everyone who has lost a piece of themselves from losing someone they loved. I hope that somewhere in these drawings, you find a moment where you connect. A breath. A sense that you are not alone in what you carry – and perhaps, in that, a little peace.
